I have lived in Fort Bragg from birth and have been drawing from the age
of ten. In my early school years I loved to draw animals and though I
wanted to draw people, I found it so frustrating that I easily gave up.

Somehow over the years as I went through school my abilities developed and
eventually I didn't even have to put a beard on a portrait to draw a man.
Over the last ten years my art has focused on portraiture, and I have
completed many commissions in mostly graphite pencil, and a few in watercolor, my more recent pursuit. In watercolors I have created mostly landscapes and have found some success in the sales of these paintings. I
have always felt awed and inspired by beautiful realistic art, and I
strive to create my own works in this tradition, whatever my medium.
